FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE!
Mobile GOP will host a Republican Primary Debate for Senate District 22 at 7:00pm Monday 30 March 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Citronelle 8520 West State Street in Citronelle.

All the candidates in the Republican Primary have been invited. The debate panel will be George Talbot of the Mobile Press Register, Chip Drago of the Mobile Bay Times, and Willie Gray of Call News. The moderator will be Mark Erwin, former chairman of the Mobile County Republican Executive Committee. The debate is open to the public. Questions for the candidates may be submitted by email to Pete Riehm at priehm@bellsouth.net.

Nodine Picked for National Homeland Security Program
Mobile County Commissioner Stephen Nodine has been selected to attend the Homeland Security Executive Leaders Program this year, part of the federal government's efforts to strengthen national security. Participants are chosen for their recognized leadership in the disciplines that make up homeland security.
Nodine will attend the program at the Naval Postgraduate School's Center for Homeland Defense and Security in Monterey, CA. The school will pay all costs, including travel, lodging, food and supplies.
Jim Walker, director of Alabama Homeland Security, believes Nodine will be the first elected county commissioner in the country to be selected for the program.

The Mobile County Republican Executive committee will meet at 7:00 on Monday, April 6 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, corner of Airport Blvd. and Sage Avenue.

Gubernatorial candidate Tim James will be the guest speaker.

2nd Annual Mobile GOP Gala Dinner is Set!
The 2nd Annual Mobile GOP Gala Dinner is set for Friday, April 17, 2009.
The featured speaker will be Senator Jeff Sessions. The location will be the Magolia Room located on the USA Brookley Campus. Cocktails will begin at 6pm with the program and dinner starting at 7pm. Meeting Set for AZALEA CITY REPUBLICAN WOMEN
AZALEA CITY REPUBLICAN WOMEN
will meet Tuesday, March 31, 6:00 p.m. at Wintzell's Downtown, 605 Dauphin Street.Tim James, Candidate for Governor, and Greg Albritton,
Candidate for Senate Seat 22, are scheduled to speak. The Mobile Young Republicans Group has been invited to join us for this meeting. Other candidates and visitors are encouraged to attend. Dinner will be a buffet of fried shrimp, grilled chicken, salad, and iced tea, at a price of ten dollars ($10). The cost of the meal is payable at the door by check (ACRW) or cash. Other drinks may be ordered from the bar. We will meet in the room off the patio.
